PROVING INNOCENCE: 6.Plan

'What? What the hell are you doing here, Suchit?'
She was shocked to find him here and had a lot of questions to ask. How did he find out she was here? What if Ankit finds out he has caught them? Did he know Ankit?
Suchit kept silent.
'He is going to come soon. The guy who went upstairs. Tell me what you want Suchit'.
'You'
'Are you crazy? How did you find me here?'
'I would do anything for you, Ishita. You know that'
The look that Suchit gave scared Ishita. She couldn't let him win. She had to control, for her own good.
Behind Suchit, Ananya was standing rather calm. She must be helping him win over her, again, she thought.
But there wasn't any time for this right now.
'You have to leave, both of you' Ishita pulled them out of the building.
'I'll meet you later. Definitely not in front of him. Tomorrow 5 o' clock. At creamstone, is that okay? Now please leave...'

As they sat in the car and drove back, Ananya finally spoke up
'What the hell was that about? Are you seriously crazy?'
'Well yes maybe I am. By the way, good acting. I know you were in the same state that Ishita was, but you kept your calm, and that was a commendable job. I was scared you would give us away'
'Yeah and that's what you think I am, incapable'. Ananya was filled with anger, their plan was messed up and now this guy she was helping went on to get back with his ex rather than finding out his father's killer. He is surely out of his mind, she thought.
'Only I am not' he said calmly as if he had read her mind.
'I'm not crazy as you think I am, Ann. You really think I am in love with her?' He paused.
'I may have been in love with her until we went to that building, but after knowing she might have something to do with my father's death, not at all'.
Ananya didn't understand what the whole scene was about then. She looked confused but she let him speak.
'We would have been caught by that stranger if we hadn't spoken to Ishita. It would have then been difficult to prove our purpose of visit. So I spoke with the much emotional Ishita, so she believes we were here for her. She, or in fact anyone else, must not know about our plan. You get that right? We can't get caught'.
'So now, you're going to meet her tomorrow? What about checking the office?' Ananya finally spoke up as she began to understand Suchit's tactics.
'Well, yes. I'll try to get some secrets out of her. Emotional blackmail very much works out with Ishita and moreover, she is not very strong as far as keeping secrets are concerned. And about the office, now that we know Ishita is not going to be there in the office at 5 pm, and assuming the stranger and Ishita are working together, the office might be empty. And even if its not Ann, you have nothing to do with my family, and a stranger to all those involved with my father's death. Will you help me find out?'
Ananya sighed.
She didn't understand how she would do it all alone. But being a friend that she was, she immediately accepted.
