Mad dreams
Silent screams
Half awake
As thoughts flake
Freaky night
Full with fright
A ghastly sound
And heart pounds
A sudden chill
And I'm held still
A white shimmer
Then a heavy flicker
Blinded eyes
And falling skies
Help me doze
And I repose
