MIRACLE

We were on an Industrial Training trip to Karnataka and as it always happens, there is more 'fun' than the actual 'training' part. After a delightful day at Wonderla, we were en route to Mysore from Bangalore.
We travelled in two buses, one in which most of my classmates sat, and the other one was a small one with fewer people. We were having the best of our time dancing to peppy tunes and literally turning the bus into a disco, when a motor cycle stopped the bus. The man on the motor cycle informed us that the trunk of the bus was wide open and that he saw some bags falling on the road. This got us all nervous at the same time since the bags fallen could have been anyone's. We immediately got down the bus to check if our bags were safe, and all but two found theirs. One of the persons who had lost the bag was a very good friend of mine, and I saw the look on his face, all tensed and depressed. My friend and the other classmate immediately started walking back, searching for any fallen bags. The smaller bus also stopped and a lot of classmates helped. They filed a police complaint, asked passersby if they saw anything and they got nothing. Thinking the bags had been stolen, they returned and we resumed the journey.
During their search, I had called up my mother. Me and my parents happen to be ardent devotees of our gurudev, Sri Sri Ravishankar, so I took a moment to ask my mother to bless my friends (in the Art of Living, blessers are said to be the ones who provide positive energy through gurudev and my mother was one) so they find their bag. Even though I asked her to bless the both of them, since one was closer to me, it was evident that I was praying harder for him. Since the bags weren't found, I didn't have much hopes on my prayers and we all eventually moved on.
We reached Mysore in sometime. Both the buses came to a halt, we got down and started picking our bags. The two who just lost their luggage looked at the trunk with a hope that everything was just a nightmare that would end. In a while, all the luggage was out of the trunk of the bigger bus. However, it seemed that there was one bag in the smaller bus which was unclaimed. The two rushed to look at the bag, and the lucky one happened to be my friend. It was an unbelievable surprise for him, since he knew for sure that he had never kept his bag in the smaller bus.
Later that night, he thanked me saying that my mother's blessings helped him and that he was forever grateful.
I do not know if my other classmate would have found his bag had I prayed harder for him, or if god is at all partial in answering prayers, but what I do know is that everything has a reason to happen. Whether you call it miracle or coincidence, some things do not have an explanation no matter how hard you try to figure out.
And there it was, the first miracle (as I call it) I had ever experienced under the light of gurudev.
